Lenten Outreach & Fundraising: Shoreham Village. Please remember our Parish Lenten outreach in your preparations for Easter. As we journey through Lent we are invited to renew our focus on the centre of our Faith – the Journey to Death and Resurrection of Jesus. Please make your contribution as you are able for the residents of Shoreham Village. These are the items which the management has identified as ways we can contribute to the quality of life of the residents with any funds we are able to raise: 1) Smart TV for the A wing, 2) Electric fireplace for the A wing, 3) Games (i.e. shuffleboard) for resident use, 4) Relaxation/sensory stimulation items (for resident recreational programming). We will either direct our offerings towards a particular item or give Shoreham Village the funds and have them decide where they would best be utilized. For Lent, let’s also consider if there is anything each of us as individuals can do for the residents there, either by becoming volunteers or just visiting someone we know.
