Weekly Reflection 20 April 2026

The Righteous Flourish Because They Are Planted

“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree… planted in the house of the Lord.” Palm trees bend but don’t break. Cedars grow tall and unshakable. That’s the picture of a life rooted in God.

Flourishing doesn’t come from perfect circumstances. It comes from being planted—anchored in God’s presence, nourished by His Word, strengthened by His Spirit.

Fruitfulness Has No Expiration Date

“They will still bear fruit in old age; they will stay fresh and green.”

In God’s kingdom, age is not a limitation. Seasons change, but fruitfulness continues. God can use you at 15 or 85. He can bring new purpose, new strength, new influence in every chapter of your life.

The truth: If you stay rooted, God will keep you fruitful. Psalm 92 invites us to a life that is steady, rooted, and flourishing. A life that bears fruit in every season.

This is God’s promise:

If you stay planted in Him, you will flourish.

Let’s pray

Lord, plant us deeply in Your presence.
Teach us to give thanks, to trust Your unseen work, and to flourish in every season.
Let our lives bear fruit that brings You glory.
Amen.
